Over 600m2 of Linear Ribs in natural Oak veneer were installed to the entrance lobby and lift cores of 1 King William Street in London home to Argyll Industries office spaces over 6 of the floors.
4000no 38mm deep by 38mm wide walls ribs were installed with extra wide 20mm gaps for improved acoustic control through the space.
The office space spans two neo-classical buildings at the corner of King William Street and St Swithins Lane has open plan office facilities across 9 floors as well as basement space.
The renovation, designed by London architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris included restoration to the outside of the buildings as well as extending between them to give a unified space internally. Linear ribs in natural Oak were specified on 6 of the floors for lift lobbies, corridors, and the grand entrance space.
