in the newly constructed extension to the Dübendorf-Schwerzenbach school premises, modern infrastructure and ingenious design coalesce into a seamless single entity into which the integrated ceiling and lighting system also blends in perfectly.

The school building is based on a double gymnasium, two thirds of which is located below ground level, with natural daylight provided through a strip of skylights. When required, the TANGENTA-Y100 luminaires provide additional lighting and they blend seamlessly with the ball impact-resistant S7 RHOMBOS TAIFUN expanded metal ceiling. The white powder coating of this ceiling, combined with a small mesh size, imbues this building with an aesthetically pleasing and bright exterior – entirely in harmony with the architectural vision.

A highlight in functional as well as in visual terms: The school building with its gymnasium is configured with flexibility to the fore to enable it to be adapted to changing requirements in future – a modern space for a modern education.
