Light is more than just brightness – it can enliven spaces, it can create moods and it can showcase architectural elements. A perfect example of this is the corporate headquarters of Biogena in Salzburg, a renowned manufacturer of micronutrients. This new building impresses through more than its sustainability and energy efficiency. It also showcases spectacular daylight solutions from durlum.
The world of experience in the atrium of the Biogena corporate head office in Salzburg is enriched by three visually striking DIAMOND TUBEs that make a stunning impression with their 2.5 metre diameter and their 2.10 metre height. The opulent skylights are made of high-gloss aluminium and they direct daylight into this interior space through the transparent cupola, with sunlight creating a subtle interplay of light effects. Then, once it gets dark outside, the LED downlights PUNTEO-J60 installed above the daylight system highlight the DIAMOND TUBEs and emphasise their opulent texture.
Sufficient daylight also reaches the corridors and meeting rooms with durlum’s innovative LIGHT PIPEs. With their Fresnel diffuser technology, a proportion of these daylight tubes delivers homogeneous and workplace-compatible illumination while another proportion is powder-coated in white to create the 3D effect of a surface luminaire.
