When you think of banks, your first associations are often of very ordinary and unmemorable interiors. However, this is not true of the headquarters of the Urner Kantonalbank in Altdorf (CH). Here the decision was taken to create a fresh modern look. An appropriate ceiling-lighting solution was then supplied by durlum.
In many areas of the bank, the multidirectional open-cell ceiling TICELL-N was installed, including in the entrance area, in the meeting rooms and in the cafeteria. This ceiling, made of aluminium, is visually very striking indeed. This was accomplished using a special process with stamped edges reflecting the flow of light to achieve maximum permeability of light. The luminaires LUMEO installed between the concrete ceiling and the open-cell ceiling create a soothing aura of gentle transitions.
