As part of the library refurbishment in 2012-2014, Gustafs supplied black stained ash timber acoustic wall panels to the café and atrium spaces at Gothenburg Library in Sweden.

The panels were perforated and inlaid with reflective mirror pieces milled into a morse code interpretation of Lorum Ipsum spanning the multi-storey staircase.

The design was created for the library by artist Kent Karlsson and built into routing code by the architects and Gustafs.

LSA were able to visit the unique installation in December 2017.
